What you will be doing:

You will be joining our backend team, which is responsible for our database offering and API services. In this role, you will:

• Be an active contributor to our core feature set, hands-on coding will be the primary focus of this role.
• Take a leadership role in pivotal projects. You will contribute, oversee a project from inception to completion, and take ownership of delivery.
• Be an active voice in system architecture and design decisions.
• Contribute to our growing set of open-source projects, including pgroll, pgzx, and forthcoming initiatives.

 

About you:

• You are a self-starter, that can take responsibility.
• Significant experience developing performant systems-level software, preferably in Golang, but C/C++ are also valued.
• Good knowledge of Postgres
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems

Nice to haves:

• Experience with Cloud services, especially serverless platforms
• Experience with NoSQL database systems
• BSc/MSc in Computer Science
